For more than two decades, Charles Lien has been turning ideas into technology that works — guiding products from concept to market with precision, creativity, and care.

Charles began his career in Taiwan, the heart of the world’s electronics manufacturing industry. There, he managed international teams and oversaw more than 200 successful projects across Asia, Europe, and North America for some of the world’s most respected brands — including Porsche, BMW, Yamaha, Siemens, 3M, and Panasonic. Put simply, if it has a screen, Charles can make it work — from automotive infotainment dashboards to consumer electronics, he knows how to turn concepts into reality.

Under Charles’s guidance, Astra Touch Innovation unites the technical excellence of Taiwan’s manufacturing ecosystem with the energy and ingenuity of New York’s innovation culture, empowering startups, inventors, and global manufacturers alike to bring their ideas from concept to completion — confidently, efficiently, and exceptionally.

Over time, Charles noticed a growing gap between brilliant ideas and the realities of manufacturing. Inventors and companies often struggled to transform concepts into functional, manufacturable products. When he later moved to New York City, that gap became even clearer — while the city thrives as a global hub for finance, media, and design, it lacks a strong ecosystem for hardware innovation. Across the country, Silicon Valley leads in tech, but most companies there focus on software, platforms, and digital products, rather than the hands-on engineering and production expertise required for complex electronics.

Charles saw a clear need: a company that could bridge creative vision with practical hardware execution — and that vision became Astra Touch Innovation.
